Goal 1: Establish the Fred Rogers Archive as an accessible, working collection for promoting quality and generating new thinking in early learning and children's media.

Strategy 1-1: Establish the physical and digital Fred Rogers Archive as a richly indexed resource for broad access to the variety of print, video, and audio materials representing the complete body of Fred Rogers' work.

Strategy 1-2: Compile and disseminate the Fred Rogers Oral History as a significant component of the Fred Rogers Archive and as a model for the Center's ongoing use of oral history and video documentation.

Strategy 1-3: Demonstrate new applications of materials and content from the Fred Rogers Archive.

Goal 2: Through the Fred Rogers Leadership Institute, establish the role of the Rogers Center in leadership development for early learning and children's media.

Strategy 2-1: Develop and launch the national Fellows program with the appointment of the first Rogers Center Senior Fellow, Dr. Ellen Wartella.

Strategy 2-2: Build the Rogers Center Fellows program as a "seedbed for innovation" in early learning and children's media.

Strategy 2-3: Conduct Next Generation Leadership programs for new and aspiring educators, researchers, and other professionals in early learning and children's media.

Strategy 2-4: Sponsor roundtables and other opportunities to convene leaders in early learning and children's media, for the purpose of information sharing and collaborative agenda setting.

Goal 3: Increase awareness, dialogue, and positive change on topics and issues consistent with the mission of the Fred Rogers Center.
